Model Behavior

Every April, my high school holds a fashion show luncheon to showcase new trends from local boutiques. It’s a tradition reserved for seniors–I remember looking forward to the event for months.

Despite a few wardrobe malfunctions, it was so much fun to get glammed in hair and makeup and to walk down the runway with some of my best friends (in an amazing Lilly Pulitzer bubble dress!).

Maryvale Fashion Show Lilly Pulitzer It’s hard to believe that I graduated four years ago, but I’m excited to help with the planning process of this year’s show and meet the class of 2013.

I’ll also be helping style the upcoming Harbor East fashion show along with the SB team. We’re in search of models and are holding an open casting call next week (see details below)–be sure to contact us if you’re interested!

Harbor East Fashion ShowIt will be an afternoon of shopping, food, and entertainment, so stop by if you’re in the Baltimore area!

Speaking of models… My sorority sister, Cheryl, is currently in a contest for the chance to become the face of Joyce Leslie. She is just beginning her career (which is crazy because Cheryl fits the model mold perfectly–super tall and insanely gorgeous!) and could really use your vote. Thank you!

Would you rather be behind the scenes or on the runway of a fashion show?

  1. Haha I’d love the runway, but at 5’4″ on a good day, I stick to behind the scenes ;) haha

I did a fashion show once and it was the most awkward experience ever! I’m so not cut out for the fashion world ;)

Behind The scenes For sure, but love being a front row guest equally!
