Baltimore’s warm weather today has me ready to replace chunky knits with cotton sundresses. After flipping through J.Crew’s new style guide a few days ago and testing out a coral hue on my nails (Tart Deco by Essie), I’ve been wanting to add some more spring accessories to my closet.
Jewelry is the easiest way to add color to an otherwise simple outfit. With a trip to the outlets planned, I scanned J.Crew Factory’s online selection. I’ll definitely be picking up a new necklace next weekend.

I love a cool, unique necklace. It makes it easy to dress up a simple outfit.
I think I err on the everyday side, with lots of gold and pewter jewelry (only bracelets and necklaces because my ears aren’t pierced). I do love those starfish earrings! I’m worried with statement jewelry that I’ll only find one or two outfits where the piece makes sense, but it’s always the more unique items that make an impression!
I have my favorite everyday pieces, but I also really love statement pieces. I used to think the same thing, but I’ve since learned that impressionable jewelry can work well with everything from a plain white t-shirt to an amazing dress.
