Candy Land

Early Sunday morning, my three sisters and I drove to Annapolis for a quick meeting followed by a bridal showcase. Jen’s company, Living Shabby Chic, was a vendor, so we were there to help her along with assisting our friend and event planner, Val.

Mimosa BarIt didn’t take long before I found the two most important areas in the venue–the mimosa bar and the candy bar (the two best types of bars in my opinion).

Bridal Show Candy BarThough none of us are brides with weddings in the near future, it was still fun to envision ourselves in white gowns on our special day.

Vintage WeddingI particularly loved the simple florals that were right in line with the showcase’s rustic theme.

Vintage FloralsAfter a few too many plates of fruit and “taste-testing” each cupcake flavor, the four of us made sure to play with props in the photo booth.

Photo BoothIt was a gorgeous (and inspiring!) afternoon on the water.

Candy bar or traditional wedding cake? I told my sisters that I’ll be having both!

I was in Annapolis too! This event looks like a blast! Totally my dream job.

  3. I want an ice cream bar, a candy bar, a cupcake bar, and a cookies/brownies/bread pudding kind of bar. And a fake wedding cake just for looks. HAHA…. sugar overload! I think mimosa bars are great for bridal showers!
